The Ramones, whose debut album featured a song "Massacre" that name checked Tobe Hooper's 1974 horror classic Texas Chain Saw Massacre, kick off Stephen King week at the Colonel Mortimer Horror fest with their song "Pet Sematary" which plays through the end credits of the Mary Lambert directed film of the same name. The song appears on their 1989 album, Brain Drain (which also features the holiday classic "Merry Christmas (I Don't Want to Fight Tonight)".
Sadly in the twenty years since this song was written, the three principle members of the band: Joey, Johnny and Dee Dee, have all since passed away. Thankfully I have it on good authority none were actually buried in a pet cemetery.
